Biogas
From biomass to biogas
The food waste is weighed, registered and mixed with other biofuels at the biogas plant. At these plants the biomass is made into biogas, which means the food waste is recycled optimally and nothing is wasted. BioTrans Nordic collaborates closely with the biogas plants which ensures the process is handled in an effective and productive way. The result is a CO2 – friendly energy source, and the remaining residual product is used as organic fertilizer. This way nothing is wasted. The bio-gasification process is 8 times more CO2-friendly than the corresponded process at coal-fired CHP.
